Advocates for strategic, sustainable, and community-centered land-use planning that will:

  • Prioritize open space for gatherings and programs

  • Protect sweeping sunrise and sunset views with thoughtful placement of community-centered gathering places

  • Enhance the economic vibrance and quality of life for the community at large

  • Limit impact on infrastructure and utilities

​Educates citizens through ongoing programs about strategic, sustainable, and community-centered land-use planning topics, such as:

  • Open space as a driver of economic growth and community impact of other redevelopment initiatives

  • Hull’s unique geology as a barrier beach, including its impact on the health of Boston Harbor, its islands, and the City of Boston

  • Local and global climate and weather – and the long-term implications on coastal environments

  • Human-centered design strategies to create positive environmental, social, and economic impact

  • Understanding “impact investors” – those who make investments to help create beneficial social or environmental effects while also generating financial gains

 

Engages the community to care about strategic, sustainable, and community-centered land-use planning and encourages participation in:

  • H.R.A. meetings and events, including activities occurring on the H.R.A. land

  • Local environmental and sustainability initiatives

  • Town elections, meetings, committees, and boards
