Sunset kayak tour

Join us for a special sunset kayak tour of the Weir River Estuary, followed by appetizers and discussion at The Drift

An educational outing to benefit S.O.S. Hull

Scott Plympton, owner of Nantasket Kayaks, will provide a tour of the Weir River Estuary, pointing out its flora, fauna, and special protections under the Area of Critical Environmental Concern (ACEC) designation. 

 

After the kayak tour, we will meet at The Drift (formerly Red Sky), featuring special
guest Karen Grey, President of Wildlands Trust. Karen has led Wildlands Trust since 2007 and will share insights into the role of land trusts and their benefits to local communities. Her organization plays a vital role in land conservation, serving 59 cities and towns across southeastern Massachusetts. 

 

Arrive by 5:15 pm to load. Sunset is at 7:30 pm.

 

Cost is $50 per person. Upon arrival on the event day, payment can be made via credit card, check, or cash.

PLEASE: DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF NANTASKET KAYAKS. Free parking is available directly at the far end of  Steamboat Wharf Marina toward the guest dock. Please carpool, bike, get dropped off, or park at the DCR Lot across the street.​
